Help Requests: Step-by-Step

Need a little extra support? We’re here for you. The Basics Box program gives students essentials like shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, and more, discreetly and at no cost. Making a request is simple, private, and done through your school or directly through CAC.

Step 1: Fill out a request form

Select the option that works best for you.

◦ Paper form from your school counselor, nurse, or administrator

◦ Online form here

The form will ask simple questions such as the student's name, and a checklist of items you can request.

Step 2: School Coordinator Receives Request

A trusted school staff member reviews your request and gathers the items.

Step 3: Discreet Delivery

Items will be sent home with the student the next school day by default, or they can be made available for pick-up based on what works best for your family.

What's Included in a Basics Box?

◦ Shampoo and Conditioner
◦ Body Wash/Soap
◦ Lotion
◦ Deodorant
◦ Toothbrush and Toothpaste
◦ Hair brush/Comb
◦ Feminine Hygiene Products
◦ Socks & Underwear
One of each item per student. Up to 3 requests per school year.
